These terms apply when you use freetoolr.com and our apps. By using FreeToolr you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

FreeToolr provides free online tools, guides and related content. Tools are free to use without an account. We may add, change or retire tools at any time, and we try to give notice before removing anything people rely on.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the tools for personal, educational and business purposes. You agree not to:

  • break any law or anyone's rights, including copyright and privacy;
  • upload or process content you are not allowed to use;
  • scrape the site, overload it with automated requests, or try to get around rate limits or security;
  • copy or resell our tools, text or design as your own service.

3. Your content and results

Files, text and data you use with our tools remain yours. Browser-based tools never send your files to us. For server tools, you give us permission to process your input only to produce your result. Results you create are yours to use, with no watermark and no credit needed.

4. Accounts

Accounts are optional and free. Give accurate details, keep your sign-in safe and tell us if you suspect misuse. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

5. Shop purchases

Digital products are delivered by email or download straight after payment. Prices are shown before you pay and may include local taxes. If a product does not work as described, contact us within 14 days for a fix or a refund. This does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

6. Advertising and partner links

The site is funded by advertising and labelled partner links. Ads never appear inside a tool. We are not responsible for products, services or websites run by advertisers or partners.

7. Our content

The FreeToolr name, logo, design, tool code and written content belong to us. You may link to any page and quote short parts with a link back.

8. Accuracy and no professional advice

We work hard to make every result correct, but results are general information and not financial, tax, legal or medical advice. See our disclaimer.

9. Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using FreeToolr after a change, the new terms apply.
